Huka entertainment has pieced together a well balanced group of performers that are going to absolutely rock Pemberton from July 18-20

Harland Williams on Mountain Mornings

Darren and Carl were lucky enough to be joined by Harland Williams on Mountain Mornings today. Harland has a starring role in the new comedy Package Deal which is currently filming its second season in Vancouver and will be airing of City TV in the early fall. The conversation is wide ranging; covering everything from Harland’s famous film roles (Dumb and Dumber, Half Baked, Something About Mary) to his time growing up in Toronto. Even a story about Darren and Harland at the Playboy Mansion

More events released for GO Festival

Whistler’s new spring festival GO Fest, Whistler’s Great Outdoors Festival has added more family-friendly outdoor adventure events to the calendar for the May 16-19 weekend including GO Enduro, a mountain bike race in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park; a disc golf tournament called DiscGO; the inclusion of the Whistler 5 On 5 Ultimate Frisbee tournament; The Great Slush Cup, the ultimate spring skiing/snowboarding experience on Whistler Blackcomb; and a rafting adventure for all levels of ability called the Great Green River Challenge.

GO Festival brings the Sheepdogs to Whistler

The Inaugural Great Outdoors Festival is taking place on May Long weekend in Whistler and it is going to ROCK! The Sheepdogs are bringing the unique brand of Canadian rock to Whistler for a free show to kick the weekend off on Friday, May 16th. It’s that time of year when Bears start to emerge from hibernation and search for food sources. The Sea to Sky Corridor has a large population of Bears and it’s important to keep everyone informed on the best ways to maintain the Bears safety and your own. This year the Get Bear Smart Society and WildSafe BC are asking for some help from students throughout the Corridor! If you are an elementary student between grades 5-7 you can submit your own PSA and have it played on Mountain FM! Check out the details:

CCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament at Quest

CCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship hosted by Quest University Canada. The tournament runs from Thursday, March 13th to Saturday, March 15th. Quest is competing against 7 other teams from across Canada. Game times are 1, 3, 6:30 and 8:30 on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday games are 10, 12, 2, 6:30 and 8:30.
