The last 3 Canucks and Flames series have all had this in common: they’ve all taken in the 1st rd, all gone to game 7, all ended in OT and the winning team went to the Stanley Cup Finals.

Huge new artists announced for the World Ski and Snowboard Festival

Even more music has been added to the Outdoor Concert Series and Kokanee Freeride Club Series lineup at the World Ski & Snowboard Festival (WSSF) in Whistler, BC.

MSTRKRFT will play a free show in Skier’s Plaza at the base of Whistler Mountain on Sunday, April 19 to close out the WSSF Outdoor Concert Series. MSTRKRFT will turn the energy up and have the crowd dancing one last time before the 20th annual WSSF begins to wind down for another year.

Squamish Beer Festival

Craft beer fans will soon have one more thing to raise their glasses to this summer with the launch of the first annual Squamish Beer Festival, a one-day event dedicated entirely to sampling the latest beer and cider releases from some of the world’s best breweries. The event will take place on Saturday July 11 from 1pm-6pm at O’Siyam Pavilion in Downtown Squamish.

Canucks Hold Steady and March to the playoffs

Canucks and Sharks tonight at Rogers arena where San Jose has won 6 straight games. Jacob Markstrom will get his first start of the season for a Vancouver team that is looking to get some key parts back in the line up shortly. You might see Alex Edler as soon as tonight. Chris Tanev however may have suffered a set back in his recovery from a concussion.
