The Sea-to-Sky Highway is now open after being closed at Callaghan for seven hours.

Just before 9AM there was a head-on collision that killed one and sent another to hospital. Whistler RCMP Staff Sergeant Steve LeClair told our sister station NEWS1130 that…

“We were notified of a collision on Highway 99 just north of the Callahan Forest Service Road. Two vehicles collided at that location… One of the vehicles went off-road and caught fire, with the driver trapped inside. The driver of that vehicle was deceased.”

Mountain FM will keep you updated as the investigation continues.
