Whistler Public Library presented their annual report to council on Tuesday night.

The report showed 256,511 individuals visited the library in 2015 and attracted 2,388 new cardholders.

Highlights in the report also included new online resources with entertainment, news articles and video tutorials now available to patrons, as well as extended opening hours on Fridays until 6pm.

Phase one of updates to the children’s area has also been completed, which saw the addition of colourful shelving for the juvenile fiction collection.
