Sunshine Coast RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find missing 16 year-old Tristan McDougall.

Tristan was last seen leaving his home in the Langdale area (near Gibsons) on the morning of September 18. It is believed he may have traveled to the Vancouver area that day, however it is unknown whether he later returned to the Sunshine Coast.

He’s described as a 16 year-old white male, 6 feet tall, medium build with short light brown hair and a scar on the side of his left eye. He was last seen wearing a green baseball cap, grey “Crooks and Castles” sweatshirt, black sweatpants and white velcro shoes.

Sunshine Coast RCMP Constable Harrison Mohr says: ‘For a number of reasons, we have real concerns about Tristan’s well-being, and we are asking everyone to keep an eye out for him. If you see Tristan or have information that may help to identify where he is, please contact your local police immediately. We want to ensure he is reunited with his family as soon as possible.’
