An Australian man has successfully managed to send a can of beer on a plane as checked luggage.

Dean Stinson was flying from Melbourne to Perth on Qantas. In an interview with UniLad he said; “I half expected to find it empty, but if it didn’t turn up I’d have filed a lost luggage report.”

The beer that was chosen to make the flight was an Australian lager, Emu Export which is popular in Western Australia. Stinson posted a photo to his Facebook page with the caption ‘not all emus are flightless’. Check out the full article here.

Ever wondered what people have tried to fit in their suitcase? Research found that everything from car parts, a cow carcass to a fridge freezer have made the list. Check out more here.
