This is a great experience so far. It has been very motivating and the trainers are super helpful. That little bit of competition has been exactly what I needed to get moving. After one month of working hard I feel I have a good schedule that is working out to really start and bust it – and now I’m seeing some real results! Sometimes I don’t want to work out, or do anymore pushups or sit ups but thinking about having this opportunity, I just can’t waste it, so I pump out a few more pushups. I’m excited every week to complete the challenge or fitness evaluation. I think I’m getting addicted to sweating it out – feel the burn!

I began my "Change for the better" the day I found out I was a qualifier in the Challenge.  I can't remember the last time I felt this good.  The encouragement and assistance I receive from the staff at The Core is above and beyond.  My friends, family, coworkers and students at MPCS have given me such positive reinforcement and I actually look forward to my workouts!

From overcoming my fear of heights to complete the Wall challenge has been my greatest accomplishment (to me).  John may not agree with this.

I am really looking forward to the upcoming challenges that I will be facing.

There are many reasons why I will be the new Ultimate Hardcore Challenge Champion. I’m a dedicated person that is always trying to achieve new goals. I enjoy life and I’m eager to learn more about health and training techniques. In addition, it will be am amazing opportunity to meet people that share the same passion. My Gold Digger Fans will always be there to support me.  I can sing and dance just like MC Hammer… oops! that has nothing to do with the contest.  I truly believe that it is important to live a healthy life and to challenge yourself.  This competition will give me the opportunity to accomplish this life style.  Basically I just want to have fun, take care of my body and mind and learn from the pros. And if I win… LV will be mine !  As Napoleon once said: “Man are born to succeed not fail”

Training Tips

Training Tip #1

To loose weight, reduce stress in your life as your body will produce a stress hormone that will keep you from burning fat.

Training Tip #2

Soft drinks are not drinks, they are liquid food and are unhealthy. Drink water.

Training Tip #3

Buy good quality running shoes if you’re going to start running. They absorb the shock of running much better than poor quality shoes.

Training Tip #4

Most of those who have lost large amounts of weight, list walking as their main source of exercise.

Training Tip #5

All activity starts with the abdominal muscles, so exercise your abs 5 times a week by doing crunches.

Training Tip #6

If you are not being spotted while performing the bench press, you may be wasting your time doing the bench press.
