Squamish RCMP is calling their 5th annual ‘Cram the Cruiser’ event a “complete success”.

Members of the community braved the cold and snow to drop-off new toys, food items and cash donations to members of the RCMP in the Nesters Market parking lot in Squamish on December 11th. Two police cars were filled with toys and food items by the end of the event, and $1,163.85 in cash and gift cards were also donated.

Staff Sargent Jolaine Percival says the event always brings out the best in everyone; “We are thrilled with the amount of people that came out to say hello and donate to this worth(y) cause. We are all smiles, with the participation from our community. Working together, we can make a positive difference.”

All donations will be given to Community Christmas Care to benefit those less fortunate in Squamish.
