I was fortunate to be selected to ride on the Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock team in 2013 – A 1200km bike ride on Vancouver Island raising money for pediatric cancer research and send kids with cancer to Camp Goodtimes!

I met this little girl at one of the schools – she raised a TON of money and shaved her head to remember her friend Molly who passed away earlier that year from leukemia. The whole experience was really life changing. I met so many kids like this who lost their friends, or some who are still bravely battling cancer, and some who I met who have passed away in the years since our ride.
If you were looking for a close shave, today’s the day! OR start growing out those locks and raise money for Whistler’s annual Balding for Dollars event coming up in March!
There are always lots of ways to get involved and help the fight against cancer!
