The Squamish RCMP have announced their fundraiser for Community Christmas Care will return again this year.

The 5th annual ‘Cram the Cruiser’ takes places on Sunday from 10am to 5pm in the Nesters Market parking lot in Squamish. Residents are invited to pack an RCMP pick-up truck full of food, toys, gift cards and cash donations to help those less fortunate this Christmas. Kids are also invited to check out and sit in the police cruiser.

Past events have been hugely successful and have seen upwards of 150 bags of food, toys, and more than $500 in cash and gift cards donated.

If you’re unable to attend you can still donate to Community Christmas Care by attending Squamish Savings to donate money. To donate food items, all grocery stores have bins labelled ‘CCC’ but items must be placed in the bins by December 14th.
