Whistler RCMP is asking for the public’s help in piecing together what happened after a 22-year-old U.S. resident was found with a non-lethal stab wound to one of his forearms over the weekend.

Police say a man collapsed in a Whistler Village hotel lobby on Saturday at around 5:15AM. The man had been in an altercation with an acquaintance according to a police statement.

The 22-year-old is expected to make a full recovery and police say a 33-year-old suspect, who is a Vancouver resident was arrested.

Whistler RCMP believe it was a targeted and isolated incident but would like to speak with anyone that witnessed the incident or has any information, that has not already spoken to police. You can contact Cpl. Durin at the Whistler Detachment on (604) 932-3044.
