The Resort Municipality of Whistler is wanting the public to engage in the future of the community via the Official Community Plan this spring.

Over the coming months, the resort will host a number of opportunities for residents, stakeholders and partner organizations to participate. Engagement opportunities will include two community forums, two questionnaires, as well as feedback postcards around the community.

Mayor Nancy Wilhelm-Morden says “Whether you’ve been a Whistler resident for 30 years, three years, or three months, your voice is an important part of our story”. The Mayor states “Whistler’s continued success needs to include perspectives from our early community days, as well as more recent experiences”.

A Community Vision Meeting (the first of several) will be held on March 5th at the Whistler Conference Centre. A drop in session will run from 4:00-5:30 pm with presentation and discussions from 5:30-8:30 pm. Child-minding and food will be provided from 5:30 pm onward.
