Whistler Blackcomb has announced a 2 day EDGE Card will be available for purchase in the 2018-19 season.

The 2 day card will be in addition to the 5 and 10 day EDGE cards, as well as the Epic Pass, and the Whistler Blackcomb Unlimited Pass. Skiers and snowboarders have until September 3rd to lock in the lowest price on the 2 day card, available for CAD $229, without holiday or peak restrictions. The restricted 2 day EDGE card will be available for CAD $199 and includes access for two days of skiing or snowboarding with certain peak day restrictions.

“We’re thrilled to offer the 2-Day EDGE Card for the upcoming season, which we know will provide additional flexibility and value for our local and regional guests,” says Pete Sonntag, Chief Operating Officer at Whistler Blackcomb.

EDGE Cards are available to residents of Canada and Washington State and offer various savings and benefits.

The new 2 day EDGE card comes following frustrations by many locals and B.C. residents that previously purchased 3 day EDGE cards, but were discontinued when Vail Resorts took over ownership of the mountain. Last season only 5 and 10 day EDGE cards where available.

“This is our response. We listened to what people were saying, and we thought you know, this is what we want to offer so that we can make sure that the Vancouver market knows that they are a very valued customer, and that the Sea to Sky customer knows that they are welcome. We definitely heard that this is what people wanted” said Jennifer Smith, Senior Communications Specialist, Vail Resorts.
