Update:

A body was located on January 14th at Kelvin Grove Beach. RCMP say all initial indicators point to the body belonging to missing woman, Lorraine Prebushewski but a final identification by the BC Coroner’s Service is pending.

Squamish RCMP and Lions Bay Search & Rescue are looking for a missing Lions Bay resident.

Lorraine Prebushewski was last seen at 10 am on Sunday January 13th and is said to have left the home she was staying at on Kelvin Grove Way on foot.

Police and Search & Rescue conducted a large scale operation on Sunday and throughout the night but have yet to locate the woman. The search efforts are continuing.

Prebushewski is described as 59 years old, 5’2″, 120 lbs with a slim build, brown eyes and dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing all black including a black puffy down filled vest with hood and black runners.

Prebushewski has ties to the Coquitlam area and is originally from Saskatchewan.
