Whistler charity Zero Ceiling has been awarded a $5,000 Ted Rogers Community Grant from Rogers Communications.

The organisation was nominated by Mountain FM and later selected by Rogers as 1 of the 100 recipients across the country.

The grant is awarded to community organizations that have gone above and beyond to provide their communities with educational support programs. The grants help local community partners continue to run innovative programs focused on inspiring youth to continue their education and to develop skills to help them succeed.

Mountain FM Sales Manager, Joe Polito says there were a few tears of joy shared when the giant cheque was presented to Zero Ceiling’s Co-Executive Director, Chris Wrightson and Program & Development Officer, Lizi McLaughlin on January 16th at the base of Whistler Mountain.
