The World Ski & Snowboard Festival has announced this years music lineup, with Michael Franti & Spearhead headlining.

While in Whistler Franti will perform two shows – his free show in Skiers Plaza on Wednesday, April 10th, and at an intimate pre-festival screening of his new critically acclaimed film Stay Human, which will include a Q&A followed by an acoustic performance in the Whistler Conference Centre on Tuesday, April 9th.

Additional performers in the free outdoor concert series schedule include Snotty Nose Rez Kids, Old Soul Rebel, Little Destroyer, Skratch Bastid, Mat The Alien and MarchFourth.

 

Outdoor Concert Series Schedule:

April 10, 3 p.m. – Snotty Nose Rez Kids

April 10, 4 p.m. – Michael Franti & Spearhead

April 11, 3 p.m. – Old Soul Rebel

April 11, 4 p.m. – Little Destroyer

April 12, 3 p.m. – Skratch Bastid

April 13, 3 p.m. – Mat The Alien

April 14, 3 p.m. – MarchFourth

 

The festival is billed as North America’s largest festival of snow sports, music, arts and mountain culture, and will also include the Saudan Couloir Race Extreme, the finals of the Monster Energy Boarderstyle World Championships and Ski and Snowboard Big Air competitions.

Numerous arts event will also be featured over the festival’s run, including the Pro Photographer Showdown and Art+Soul.
