Bear’s Den

Squamish Youth Council is excited to announce the return of our $10,000 grant opportunity, Bear’s Den! They will be awarding the grant to a local not-for-profit to help with the creation of a NEW project or initiative that will have a measurable impact on Youth in Squamish. The 2024 finalists are: Between the Shifts Theatre Society – Theatre Mentorship Initiative, Second Chance Cheekye Ranch - “Into the Woods: An Equine-Guided Journey Reconnecting Youth with Nature," Squamish Volleyball Club - SVC Youth Leadership Program, Squamish Climate Action Network Society - Youth Farm Camps, Foundry, Pride Squamish, and Sea to Sky Allies - Youth Social Dance/Event. Event co-organizer, Daisy was on the show along with co-MC Flo and Squamish Mayor, Armand Hurford to tell us more about the show, happening on April 24th at Eagle Eye Theatre.
