Hearts in the Ice – catching up with Sunniva Sorby

Citizen Scientists, Sunniva Sorby and Hilde Falun - and Ettra the Husky - have been doing research on effects of plastic in the ocean, observations of clouds and aurora activity for NASA and hosting video chats, educating classrooms around the world, from the very remote Norwegian island of Svalbard. They have been living a very isolated life in a trapper's hut since last August, with the threat of extreme cold and polar bears. We talked to Sunniva, who normally lives in Squamish, last week.
