Squamish Youth Council: Bear’s Den

Squamish Youth Council will award $10k to one of the top 5 finalists in the Bear's Den, to a local non profit at Eagle Eye Theatre on Thursday, April 20th. Squamish Mayor Armand Hurford was on the show along with Ruby and Sophia, both grade 12 students at HSS and part of SYC. The top 5 are, Howe Sound Secondary: Courtyard Connections Revitalization, OurSquamish: Youth Placemaking, Evan’s Lake Forest Education Centre: Outdoor Education for Everyone, SORCA: Squamish Nation Youth Mountain Bike Program and Squamish Youth Services: Squamish Youth Artisan Maker Series and Market. Free tickets are available on the District of Squamish site or on the Squamish Youth Council Instagram page. Doors are at 6:30, the show gets going at 7pm.
