Big Sugar

Since their inception in the late 80’s Big Sugar, with Gordie Johnson at the helm, have released numerous Gold and Platinum-selling albums along with multiple chart-topping singles including “Diggin’ A Hole” and “Turn the Lights On.”

She Stole My Beer
Originating from Vancouver’s North Shore, septet She Stole My Beer, has been playing live shows for over 20 years. From sold out shows in Whistler, to a sprinkling of gigs each year throughout the lower Mainland, She Stole My Beer never puts the same show on twice. Though they are tough to put a label on, their repertoire features a mix of covers and originals with influences from Lynard Skynard, Neil Young, and John Prine.

Old Soul Rebel
The powerhouse duo, Old Soul Rebel, will wow audiences with their bold, upbeat, immense and soulful cutting edge sound. Described as one of “11 best new bands” by CBC Radio Canada, and recently featured on CTV’s The Launch, Old Soul Rebel puts a brand new shine on soul and rock n’ roll.

Dakota Pearl
Kicking off Backyard Aprés will be Dakota Pearl, one of British Columbia’s up and coming outlaw/alt country brand. Since winning a contest to play Pemberton Music Festival in 2014 they have gone on to play numerous events and festivals, including Rockin’ River Music Festival, Kootenay Country Music Festival, World Ski & Snowboard Festival, and the Music City Center in Nashville just to name a few.
