The property market has slowed down with the current COVID-19 crisis. However, some people are still buying new homes and it’s important that their investments are protected by setting up a home inspection. Mark at House Sound Home Inspections is still available for this but, obviously, with precautions in place the following needs to be observed: (i) if the owners, tenants or any other person are on the premises and are “self-isolating” either because of illness or arrival from abroad, then we cannot take a booking for the property; (ii) Mark will wear vinyl gloves during the interior inspection and his shoes will be removed and placed in a clean bag; (iii) if the potential purchaser wishes to attend for a walk through and this is permitted by the home owner, social distancing will be observed and it will be encouraged that masks are worn.
