Whistler Olympic Park is preparing to open it’s doors for another season this week, with over three feet of natural snow having already fallen this month at the facility.

Opening day is November 23rd, when approximately 40 kilometres of cross-country ski trails and over 10 kilometres of snowshoe trails will be available to the public, as well as dog friendly terrain. The facility has also announced that they will play host to FIS Cup Ski Jumping on December 7th & 8th and FIS Continental Cup Ski Jumping December 9th & 10th, which will see almost 100 ski jumpers from over 20 nations compete on the Olympic hill.

This year the shuttle service from Whistler Village has been extended, with two daily departure times from Whistler Olympic Park and back to the resort.

Special events such as the Ladies Ski Day, Friday Night Event Series and Dog Day will also be taking place this season. Lessons will be available including new multi-session adult progression clinics for skate and classic skiing. Ski jumping lessons are also available to the public.
